About This Portfolio

Every image in this gallery comes from a real session on the South Shore of Massachusetts — no stock photos, no staged setups. These are portraits made at locations like World's End and Bare Cove Park in Hingham, Scituate and Duxbury beaches, the harbor in Cohasset, Wompatuck State Park, and our studio in Rockland.

The work spans six categories. Headshots range from clean studio portraits for LinkedIn and corporate directories to on-location executive and personal branding portraits at South Shore harbors and parks. Senior portraits capture high school seniors at landmark South Shore locations — golden hour light, open landscapes, and the real personality of the person in front of the lens. Personal branding sessions produce lifestyle libraries for entrepreneurs, coaches, and small business owners across the region.

Family portraits document families as they actually are right now — kids running, parents laughing, dogs doing their own thing. Maternity sessions honor the weeks just before a family grows, with both studio and outdoor options available. Event photography covers corporate events, birthday celebrations, and private gatherings throughout the South Shore and Greater Boston.

If you see a style or location that resonates with you, that's a good starting point for a conversation. Every session begins with understanding what you want — then building a plan around it.

What you are looking at

The portraits above come from sessions across the South Shore of Massachusetts — families, high school seniors, professionals, business owners, and expecting parents. They are grouped by session type so you can see what a particular kind of shoot actually produces before you book one.

A few things worth noticing as you browse. Outdoor, available-light work is the core of how we shoot — the South Shore has better backdrops than any backdrop we could hang, and using them gives your pictures a sense of place that a seamless paper roll cannot. Outdoor sessions run in the ninety minutes before sunset whenever the schedule allows, which is why so many of those frames share the same warm, low, side-lit quality. The clean-background frames in the headshot set come from the Rockland studio, which stays available for anyone who wants that look alongside an on-location session.

You will also see variety within each session. We shoot wide environmental frames that show where you are, mid-length portraits that work well printed, and tighter frames that crop cleanly to a square for social use. A typical gallery comes back with all three, because the picture you want above the fireplace and the picture you want as a profile photo are rarely the same picture.

Browsing with a session in mind

If you are planning a family session, look at how the groups are arranged rather than at the clothing — that is the part that carries over to your family. If you are planning senior portraits, notice how much the location changes the mood between the beach frames and the woodland ones; picking the setting is most of the decision. If you are here for headshots, pay attention to the backgrounds, because on-location work means the background is a choice you get to make.

Clothing questions come up more than anything else, and they are worth thinking through before the day. We have written detailed guides on what to wear for family portraits, what to wear for senior portraits, and what to wear for maternity photos.

Want to see where these were taken? The locations pages break down every town we shoot in and the specific spots we use there. If something in this gallery is close to what you have in mind, mention it when you get in touch — it is the fastest way to tell us what you are after.
