Rock Street Conservation Area The Rock Street Conservation Area is one of the better outdoor portrait locations in Whitman — wooded trails, open conservation meadow, and a natural character that photographs well across seasons. The relatively flat terrain is accessible for families with young children and strollers.
Whitman Town Forest Whitman's town forest areas provide wooded trail options close to residential neighborhoods. The light filtering through the canopy in late afternoon is soft and flattering — particularly good for family sessions with young children who do better in shaded, comfortable environments.
