On session day, we meet at the location and spend about 60 minutes photographing — solo portraits first, then partner portraits, then any older children if they're joining. The pace is relaxed and conversational. I guide posing but keep things natural — no stiff, posed-looking images.

Your gallery of 20–30+ fully retouched images is delivered within 5–7 business days via a private online gallery. Partners and family members can be included at no additional cost.

Most Weymouth maternity clients include their partner in the session, and many bring older children as well. I structure the session to start with solo portraits of the expecting mom — those tend to work best early in the session when energy and patience are highest. Then we bring in a partner for couple portraits, and add older children at the end when the mood is loosest and the candid moments happen naturally.

Webb Memorial's wide paths and benches make it the best Weymouth location for sessions with toddlers — there's room for them to move without anyone worrying about tripping on uneven terrain. Great Esker is better suited for older children (5+) who can handle the moderate ridge trail.

For Great Esker Park sessions, choose something comfortable enough for gentle walking on the trail — a flowing gown still works, but pair it with flat, supportive shoes. The Back River marsh grasses are at their tallest and fullest in July and August, creating a lush natural backdrop.

Fall (September – October) — The most popular season for Weymouth maternity sessions. Great Esker's ridge trail offers panoramic fall color, and Webb Memorial's waterfront light goes golden and warm. Book 6 weeks ahead for fall weekend dates — they fill quickly.
